Word structure
The word is the opposite of 'kompliziert' (complicated). The prefix 'un-' is used very frequently in German adjectives to negate a meaning.
EXAMPLE
Die Anleitung war klar und unkompliziert.
The instructions were clear and uncomplicated.
Use as an adverb
'Unkompliziert' (uncomplicated) can also be used as an adverb to describe how an action is carried out. It then means 'in a simple way'.
EXAMPLE
Wir konnten das Problem ganz unkompliziert am Telefon lösen.
We were able to solve the problem very simply over the phone.
