Habitus vs Form

form / shape

'die Form' and 'der Habitus' can both describe something external. But 'die Form' is much more general: it means the shape or outline of things, bodies, or objects. 'der Habitus' is used mainly for people or living beings and refers not only to external shape, but also to posture, manner of appearance, and sometimes a person's social style. Learners may confuse the words because both have to do with outward appearance. In everyday language, 'Form' is almost always more natural; 'Habitus' sounds more technical and is used more in sociology, medicine, or biology.
