Informal for putting in an impressive or expected performance, especially in a competition, exam, or performance.

'Abliefern' (to deliver / to perform) is a separable verb. In a main clause, the prefix 'ab' goes at the end. In subordinate clauses or in the infinitive with 'zu', the verb stays together.
Der Lieferdienst liefert die Pizza in 30 Minuten ab.
The delivery service delivers the pizza in 30 minutes.
The meaning depends strongly on the context. If it is about a concrete object (package, report), it means 'to hand over'. If it is about performance (in sports, at work), it is informal for 'to deliver a top performance'.
Die bestellte Ware wurde direkt im Büro abgeliefert.
The ordered goods were delivered directly to the office.
When naming the recipient or the place of handover, you usually use the preposition 'bei' with the dative. The structure is: [etwas] bei [jemandem/Ort] abliefern ([something] deliver to/at [someone/place]).
Du kannst die Unterlagen einfach bei meiner Kollegin im Empfang abliefern.
You can simply deliver the documents to my colleague at reception.
The meaning 'to put in an impressive performance' belongs to informal colloquial language. In a formal text, for example an official evaluation, you would not use this word.

to hand in / give off
Abgeben neutrally describes handing over a completed piece of work. Abliefern can refer to the same handover, but emphasizes more strongly that the expected or agreed work has been completed and brought to its destination. For work that is owed, both are therefore often possible.
Mia liefert den fertigen Bericht wie vereinbart am Freitag bei ihrem Chef ab.
As agreed, Mia delivers the completed report to her boss on Friday.
